๐ŸŒOnline

Delta uses community-hosted Nintendo WFC servers to connect you with other players. Follow the below instructions to start using online features in games like Mario Kart, Pokemon, and more!

How to Connect

DS BIOS files are not required, but without them, you will need to follow these steps every time you want to connect online.

  1. Access the Nintendo WFC settings of the game. This is dependent on the game, but can usually be found from the game's main menu.

  2. Go to Options, then tap "Erase Nintendo WFC Configuration"

You must do this to ensure you have a unique Nintendo WFC identifier. If you don't do this, you will be blocked by the servers.

  1. Re-launch the game and return to the Nintendo WFC settings.

  2. Tap Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings.

  3. Tap "Connection 1" and select Search for Access Point

  4. Select "melonAP" and hit OK.

  5. Tap "Connection 1" again once the connection test is complete.

  6. Scroll down to Set Auto-Obtain DNS and set it to NO.

  7. Input the Primary and Secondary DNS for your preferred WFC Server.

You may find other servers that work, but we recommend using one of the ones below that we've tested to ensure they work with Delta.

Kaeru

Primary DNS: 178.62.43.212

Secondary DNS: 178.62.43.212

AltWFC

Primary DNS: 172.104.88.237

Secondary DNS: 172.104.88.237

Wiimmfi

Primary DNS: 167.235.229.36

Secondary DNS: 1.1.1.1

  1. Tap Save Settings. You can optionally test your connection to make sure everything is working up to this point.

  2. You have now connected to Nintendo WFC successfully and can use any online features in your game!

Devices on the same Wi-Fi network may not be able to connect to each other. We recommend switching to cellular data (if available) as a workaround.
